On Wednesday, April 1st, the circus, which is in town for the week, brought six elephants up Eutaw street to the historic Lexington Market in Downtown Baltimore to have lunch with Baltimorians. The elephants stood outside the market in front of huge piles of fruits and vegetables. I have to say, they probably ate better than most people in Baltimore do. Despite the rain it was a very festive atmosphere and it gave kids a chance to see something they might never get to see up close.
